What´s up?

What’s happening? Not much, but though I would give a short update.
Well, I´m still here in the socialist country Sweden. You know.. here most people want others to pay for what they want. Very few actually have any etics or moral.
...And everything here is heavily regulated and manipulated.
The advantage of Sweden and all control is that it is neat and tidy, there are registers about just about anything, but the downside is that it is difficult to accomplish something outside the box too.

It´s like the Crayfish Syndrome" - it's when you put all the crayfish in a pail, and one starts out to get out of the bucket and all the others reach up and pull him down.

In my opinion, this is no country for entrepreneurs. At least not to put the business main base in. It’s a pretty nice place to develop what you want to sell, but then put the base somewhere else.
Why?
So you don’t get overwhelmed by all the taxes and control. The infrastructure of Sweden is sound, stable electricity and pretty good availability of stuff and competence. But the last years, the conflicts and car-burning (between adolescent who feel misplaces and cant “get” a job) seams to increase. There are like two camps in Sweden, those who are like more pro immigrants and those who are opposed. This is making the “mood” in Sweden very bad and the country has developed into a cold centrist place, a more individualistic country, and the atmosphere is not very friendly. People are wildly confused, and in my opinion seams to make bad choices.

There are beggars outside every shop now! EVERYWHERE! What´s happening to this country? This never happened when I was younger, you never saw beggars then. It’s just another sign that the country gone bad. I do not feel at home here in Sweden, it has changed. This is one of the reasons that I´m getting rid of most my stuff.  Well all of this turmoil is unfortunately not making Sweden look very attractive to me so I´m considering moving to a better country, not right away but perhaps in a couple of years, five or something.. To me Sweden seam that the country  has wrong phfilosofical values (as so many others out there).
“Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.” - Albert Einstein (1879 - 1955)

I'm still working my life away though, still stuck in the hamster wheel. I think you English spoken people call it the “Rat-race”. :)
You see, Sweden is the mother of all subsidies. Thats how the state tries to control everyone. If you are on some sort of subsidy you vote for bigger state. In my country we have some sort of hidden totalitarianism, where the state and its government/authority tries to manipulate and distort the market.. All of course disguise as a some sort of democracy.

Our prime minister Fredrik Reinfelt, said we should open our heart to other people (immigrants), but meant to say, open our Wallets.. More taxes, more criminal activity and so on. He lost big-time in the last election of politics.
Sweden used to be a welfare country's mecca. But welfare for its native citizens is rapidly declining here.. The environment has become harsh and selfish, and a place full of “takers”, wanting other to pay for everything. Getting a free ride. The government is trying to regulate and manipulate the market  and I would guess that at least 50 percent of the population is on some kind of state allowance. Whether it is child support, housing subsidy, European subsidy for landowner, or other forms of allowance. The housing market is not working due to bad policies, and prices in popular cities is going through the roof. The access vs demand is out of whack due to too many broken regulations. There haven’t been any free market for decades here.. Many folks are heavily leveraged and speculate in the housing market.
To pull around this mountains of allowance to the community, we are burden by fees up to our ears and productive inhabitants are taxed extremely hard! We have, as you probably know one of the world's highest taxes in this country. And still I don’t think I get anything worth my money.
The taxes are absolutely my highest expenses, by far. I would have been rich otherwise.
The country is also slowly being torn apart from the inside by an increasingly segregated population. Sweden has opened its heart to too much immigration so the government has difficulties with the welfare of those who have lived and worked here all his life. Some people here are really starting to questioning the leadership of the country they have built up.  The schools are struggling with uneducated people and so on. Many peoples are suffering from exhaustion and fatigue due to hard demands in the worklife.

Most People in this country are lost!

The last years I´ve really started to question whether I should stay in this socialist country or not. Looks to me like prosperity is on the way out because of the earlier named policies.
It is really sad because Sweden is really a fine country in the summer, at least in some parts.

Yes, there are good thing here in Sweden also, but I´ll take them another time. :-)

Take care, bye!

About this blog..

About

This is a blog where I will tell you a little about my thoughts about life. Everything from finance, what I like, freedom, voluntary simplicity and such things as politics. My origin is Swedish and I live in Sweden as I write ,. As you will notice, my English language will not be okay, and I do really appreciate feedback so I can correct my post, get a better vocabulary, make my post more readable. Easier to understand and so on.

I have in some extent downsized (doing so a couple of years), and continue to do so. One of my goals is to eventually be able to follow my heart desires (a little more).
Unfortunately I do not believe in the socialist ideas conducted in Sweden, and as a small hope I have is that this blog will offer tips on countries with better potential (better moral and ethics from my point of view). Unfortunately, I see the same bad policies operated in many other countries. From my point of view I see that many are lost and do not understand how things work. I might not either, but that’s what my ego thinks anyway..
My hope with this blog is that I will remain anonymous and thus dare to write things that I would not write under my real name. Whatever the case, I don´t like to be branded.. (You know, like burn my bridges, or burn all ships as Hernán Cortés did in 1519 to inspire his men to fight better)

Yes, you can call me coward, craven or whatever you like, but I'm still dependent on having a wage labor etc. I´m still an economic slave The price for not being anonymous can thus be too high.
We shall see, for the time being, I´ll remain anonymous, even if the NSA and other spies know who I am.
Cheers!
